Hunting For Humility

Scripture is very clear that God is the greatness, the power and the glory.  The Bible also tells us that humans fall far short of that as those that are created by Him.  We are needy people that are to bow our knees before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  The world constantly teaches that everyone should be proud, entitled and have great self-esteem.  Yet, the Bible tells us that the humble will be exalted and that God will resist the proud.  Sadly not only the world but much of Christianity listens to the world and it pleases us to think of ourselves more highly than we ought.
