Death And Burial Of Christ

Death is not a rare event as approximately 55 million or more people die around the world each year.  But in the case of the Lord Jesus Christ His death impacts everyone that has ever lived, without His shed blood and death at Calvary there is no hope for any of us to be forgiven of our sin.  John reminds us that the Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled with the death and burial of our Savior.  Jesus would be in the grave all or part of three days and then He would gloriously resurrect in victory over the grave.
