Start of World Missions

Series: ACTS Topic: World Missions Scripture: Acts 8:1-13

In God's great plan which is not always evident to us, we know that He will always do the right thing.  Case in point is found in the persecution of the early Church after the martyrdom of Stephen.  Immediately following his death a great persecution breaks out causing the Church to be scattered and to run from their base in Jerusalem which was filled with their doctrine.  We are reminded that God intended for His Great Commission to be fulfilled and the catalyst would be this persecution led by Saul.  This persecution led these evangelists to go and preach in Judea, Samaria and all over the world and this also served as the catalyst for the greatest missionary ever, Paul.
