What Desperate Sinners Do

We are reminded in Acts 2 that God uses the preaching of His Word as a means of bringing the lost to salvation. Peter preached the exclusivity of Jesus Christ as going to the cross for our sins, resurrecting and being our Lord and Savior. (Acts 2:22-24, 32-33,36).  Peter preached the Word, even using extensive O.T. passages to convey the truth of Christ to this O.T., Jewish audience; faith comes by hearing the Word of God and the power of the Spirit.
