Spirit Comes At Pentecost

The promise of the coming of the Holy Spirit by the Lord Jesus happened at Pentecost with His disciples that were waiting in the upper room.  It happened on Pentecost because the Holy Spirit is the first fruits of our guaranteed inheritance.  The baptism of the Spirit happens immediately upon salvation when believers are immersed into the Body of Christ, that is the Church.  There is a distinction between the baptism and the filling of the Spirit.
