Fragility of Fellowship

The problem of coming out of Judaism and Gentiles being saved was rectified by the truth.  The Gospel is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone and no works can be added.  So, the leaders draw up a letter and give it to the trustworthy men including Paul and Barnabas to read to the new Gentile churches.  The truth of the Gospel had to be heard and delivered so that people clearly understood.  Sadly a dispute arose between Barnabas and Paul that split them because of Mark.  We are reminded that our fellowship is fragile and that we must stand for the truth even as we treasure our fellowship and seek to make things right.
